Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Operating Room: The travel operating room nurse provides perioperative care as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team. The role requires strong clinical judgment, leadership, robotics experience, and the ability to support surgical cases, patient safety, and operating room operations.

Job Details

• Assignment: 13-week assignment beginning 11/16/2026 and ending 02/15/2027.
• Schedule: Day shifts consisting of four 10-hour shifts from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with rotating weekend and weeknight call. Weeknight call is from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.; weekend call is a 24-hour shift from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. A minimum of 40 hours per week is required, with approximately 68 call shifts per month.
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of operating room circulator experience; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross; robotics experience.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include anticipating and planning patient care in the operating room; ensuring supplies and case timeliness; communicating with families; updating physician preference cards; scrubbing and assisting during surgical cases; and supervising personnel delivering patient care in accordance with applicable nursing practice standards, regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
