Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Emergency Room Boscobel, WI. This 13-week contract position provides emergency care on 12-hour night shifts in a critical access setting. The role requires independent practice, weekend availability, and collaboration with clinical teams supporting emergency and medical-surgical services.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., every weekend, averaging 36 hours per week. Holiday shifts are required when a holiday falls on a scheduled weekend.
• Required Qualifications: Wisconsin Registered Nurse license; American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications; Associate degree or certificate; minimum of 2 years of emergency department experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications; experience with Epic charting.
• Additional Information: The position is based in a 9-bed emergency and medical-surgical setting with physician, laboratory, registration, surgical, and radiology support available around the clock. The assigned nurse may float to critical access hospitals and, on occasion, medical-surgical units. The role requires the ability to work independently in a critical access environment, with typical patient ratios of 1:34. Solid-color scrubs are required.
