Job Summary

Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse provides direct patient care during invasive and non-invasive imaging procedures. Responsibilities include patient monitoring, medication administration under physician direction, intravenous line management, emergency preparedness, documentation, and coordination with patient care teams.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of experience; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications; ability to read, write, and speak English; demonstrated ability to provide safe, compassionate patient care in an interventional radiology setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certification with ARNA preferred; critical care nursing experience and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
• Schedule: Day shifts, 5x8, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role provides care for patients undergoing invasive and non-invasive procedures in interventional radiology, ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and diagnostic imaging. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, maintaining intravenous access, administering medications under physician direction, assisting with procedures, maintaining emergency equipment and supplies, documenting patient care, reporting changes in patient condition, and coordinating care with patient care teams. Call participation is required on a rotating basis. Seasonal influenza vaccination or an approved exemption is required from November 1 through April 1. Surgical scrubs are provided in the procedure area.
