Registered Nurse, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit Cape Girardeau, MO. Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications; at least 1 year of experience.
• Schedule: Day shifts, 10-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Provides nursing care by developing nursing diagnoses, establishing care objectives, implementing nursing interventions, monitoring patient responses, and modifying treatment plans as needed. Responsibilities include administering medications, providing wound care, caring for central lines, recognizing adverse signs and symptoms, assisting with examinations and procedures, explaining treatment and discharge instructions, documenting patient care, and coordinating with healthcare team members. Maintains infection-control practices, medication safety, patient confidentiality, and a safe care environment. Influenza vaccination is required from November 1 through April 1; exemptions require approval. Black scrubs are required.
