Job Summary

Emergency Room Registered Nurse, Bakersfield, CA. Provides coordinated nursing care for individual patients or assigned patient groups according to established standards and the nursing process. The role includes care coordination, clinical assessment, treatment planning, patient education, delegation, and collaboration with healthcare providers to promote safe, effective outcomes.

Job Details

Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or American Red Cross (ARC) Advanced Life Support (ALS); American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or American Red Cross (ARC) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); acute care facility experience.
Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: Provides comprehensive nursing care by collecting and analyzing patient data, developing and implementing care plans, evaluating outcomes, coordinating care delivery, promoting a safe environment, providing health education, participating in discharge planning, and appropriately delegating responsibilities. Electronic medical record experience is required. The role may require working one holiday.
