Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Operating Room Lodi. This position delivers coordinated nursing care to patients while supervising assigned nursing staff and coordinating care with other disciplines. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, exercising professional judgment, promoting patient safety, and supporting continuity of care.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); acute care facility experience.
- Schedule: Evening shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing patient data, developing and implementing care plans, evaluating outcomes, coordinating care with patients, families, and healthcare providers, providing health education, participating in discharge planning, and appropriately delegating duties. On-call responsibilities may include six call periods over six weeks, with a 45-minute callback response time.
