Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit Cleveland West. The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient care by assessing patient needs, implementing individualized care plans, monitoring outcomes, and supporting safe transitions of care. The role also provides direction and supervision to Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees while promoting patient and employee safety.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required before the first shift; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required before the first shift where applicable.
• Preferred Qualifications: At least two years of bedside clinical experience.
• Schedule: Night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include completing nursing assessments, developing and evaluating individualized plans of care, documenting assessments and interventions, participating in interdisciplinary rehabilitation planning, initiating discharge planning, providing patient and family education, communicating changes in patient status, delegating appropriately, and supervising ancillary nursing personnel. The role supports safe patient handling, infection prevention, environmental safety, continuity of care, and ongoing professional development.
