Job Summary

Clinical Nurse, Ambulatory Care Medical Surgical Skilled: Provides evidence-based, hands-on nursing care while assessing patients, developing and evaluating individualized care plans, coordinating with the healthcare team, and educating patients and families. The role promotes patient safety, family-centered care, professional development, and continuous improvement in the clinical practice setting.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shifts, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse licensure (CA-RN); current American Heart Association certification for Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers; ability to communicate effectively in English; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include performing the nursing process; assessing and interpreting patient data; implementing nursing and medical interventions; monitoring patient responses; coordinating care with patients, families, and healthcare team members; providing patient and family education; activating emergency protocols when needed; prioritizing and delegating tasks appropriately; supporting patient and employee safety; contributing to team building and quality improvement; using available technology for communication and documentation; teaching and mentoring nursing staff; and maintaining current nursing knowledge and professional practice standards.
