Job Summary

Operating Room: This position supports perioperative care in an ambulatory surgery setting. The role involves caring for patients across orthopedic, ophthalmology, ear, nose, and throat, and other surgical cases while collaborating with the surgical team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Current professional license; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA); minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with orthopedic procedures, including total joint procedures, scopes, fractures, and podiatric procedures; scrubbing experience.
• Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The ambulatory surgery setting includes multiple operating suites and procedure rooms with an average of 4050 cases per day. The role supports patient care for orthopedic, gastrointestinal and genitourinary, ear, nose, and throat, and ophthalmology procedures. No call or weekend coverage is required. Organization-provided scrubs and approximately 35 days of unit-specific orientation are included.
