Job Summary

Labor and Delivery Department This position supports high-risk obstetric patients in an acute care setting. The role provides care for postpartum, vaginal delivery, cesarean delivery, preeclampsia, diabetes, late-preterm, and hyperbilirubinemia patients while collaborating with interdisciplinary support services. The assignment is scheduled to begin 11/23/2026.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications; LA Fire Card; compact license in hand at submission; experience with cesarean sections, high-risk antepartum care, postpartum care, and vaginal deliveries; experience caring for high-risk obstetric patients and providing magnesium sulfate postpartum care.
• Schedule: Night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Patient population includes neonates, adolescents, and adults. The role includes care for vaginal and cesarean deliveries, preeclampsia, diabetes, late-preterm conditions, and hyperbilirubinemia. Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. Six weekend shifts are scheduled over a 12-week assignment.
