Job Summary
Registered Nurse Operating Room Open Heart Hudson, FL. The position supports cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures in a Level II trauma center. The role requires extensive cardiovascular operating room experience, flexibility, teamwork, and participation in rotating weekends and holidays.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Every other weekend and holidays are required in rotation with facility employees.
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of cardiovascular operating room experience; main operating room experience; willingness to support the main operating room.
- Preferred Qualifications: Registered Nurses who can also scrub and have experience with Meditech.
- Additional Information: Procedures include coronary artery bypass grafting, valve replacement, thoracic surgery, and vascular surgery. The ideal candidate is flexible and team-oriented. The role supports a 12-suite operating room, including 2 cardiovascular operating rooms, with a typical patient ratio of 1:1.
