Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery Department. This position provides nursing care for high-risk perinatal patients across labor and delivery, antepartum, postpartum, and triage settings. The role supports complex deliveries, newborn assessment, and comprehensive maternal care in a Level III setting.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience; Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Advanced and Intermediate fetal monitoring, or Relias Fetal Monitoring certification; sterile vaginal examination competency; compact nursing license in hand at submission; experience with electronic charting; experience with high-risk antepartum care, labor and delivery, cesarean sections, vaginal deliveries, postpartum hemorrhage, pre-eclampsia and eclampsia, magnesium sulfate therapy, fetal monitoring, newborn assessment, neonatal resuscitation, postpartum and couplet care, and intravenous therapy.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting 200 or more deliveries monthly; candidates with experience supporting 100200 deliveries may also be considered.
• Schedule: Night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week; weekend coverage is required.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Provides care for neonates and adults in a high-risk perinatal setting with labor and delivery, antepartum, postpartum, operating rooms, post-anesthesia care units, and triage services. Responsibilities may include assisting with high-risk deliveries, cesarean sections, sterile vaginal examinations, epidural anesthesia, fetal monitoring, amnioinfusion, hemorrhage management, newborn hypoglycemia, breastfeeding support, discharge education, and recovery following cesarean delivery. No call is required. First-time travelers are accepted. The anticipated start date is 11/16/2026.
