Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical Floor. The role provides patient-centered care for adult and geriatric populations in a medical-surgical setting, including patients with post-orthopedic conditions, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, diabetes mellitus, congestive heart failure, and end-stage renal disease. The position requires a positive attitude, self-motivation, and experience in a medical-surgical unit.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: At least 1 year of medical-surgical nursing experience; Associate Degree of Nursing; American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Schedule: Day shift with 10-hour shifts and a minimum of 40 hours per week; six weekend shifts within a six-week schedule; no call required.
• Additional Information: Patient assignments are approximately 5:1 during the day and 6:1 at night. Common diagnoses include post-orthopedic conditions, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, diabetes mellitus, congestive heart failure, and end-stage renal disease. Black scrubs are required.
