Job Summary

Certified Surgical Technician Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician provides technical support to the surgeon, registered nurse, and anesthesiologist in the operating room. Responsibilities include preparing instruments and equipment, assisting with surgical procedures, maintaining sterile technique, preserving specimens, and supporting safe, efficient perioperative operations.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
• Assignment Dates: 11/09/202601/04/2027.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down surgical procedures; preparing, arranging, and maintaining instruments and supplies; assisting with gowning and draping; anticipating surgical needs; passing instruments; verifying patient, procedure, operative site, positioning, and equipment; performing surgical counts; preparing and preserving specimens; cleaning and disinfecting operating room surfaces; restocking supplies; operating designated equipment; assisting with patient transport; and reporting breaks in sterile technique according to policy.
