Job Summary
Registered Nurse Telemetry East Portland. Provides coordinated nursing care for assigned patients while applying the nursing process, critical thinking, professional judgment, and established standards of care. Coordinates interdisciplinary care, supervises assigned nursing staff, supports patient and family education, and promotes safe, compassionate care.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; American Heart Association (AHA)Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); acute care facility experience.
- Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing patient data, developing and implementing care plans, evaluating outcomes, coordinating care delivery, delegating appropriately, collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare providers, providing health education, and participating in discharge planning. Required vaccinations may apply as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered where applicable. The traveler may be approved for one holiday off but must be available to work the other holiday.
