Job Summary

Telemetry Registered Nurse Simi Valley, California. Provides coordinated nursing care for assigned patients while supervising nursing staff and collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams. The role uses critical thinking, professional judgment, and the nursing process to promote safe, effective patient outcomes.

Job Details

Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) or American Red Cross (ARC) Basic Life Support (BLS); American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or American Red Cross (ARC) Advanced Life Support (ALS); American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or American Red Cross (ARC) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree and acute care facility experience.
Additional Information: Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing patient data, developing and implementing individualized care plans, evaluating outcomes, coordinating care delivery, promoting a safe environment, educating patients and families, participating in discharge planning, and appropriately delegating duties to healthcare team members. One holiday off may be approved, with willingness to work the other holiday required.
