Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical Floor. This position supports a 27-bed medical-surgical unit within a critical access healthcare facility. Responsibilities include caring for patients requiring medical-surgical treatment, postoperative care, psychiatric holds, end-of-life care, physical rehabilitation, and skilled nursing support.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week; every other weekend and holidays as needed. Assignment dates are 11/23/2026 through 02/22/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of current medical-surgical experience; active Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA); active New Hampshire Registered Nurse license or compact license; current licenses and certifications at the time of submission.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel nursing experience; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Additional Information: The unit maintains an approximate 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio and provides care for patients with psychiatric holds, end-of-life needs, postoperative conditions, gastrointestinal surgeries, total joint procedures, skilled nursing needs, and physical rehabilitation needs. Personal scrubs of any color are permitted. Holiday coverage requires work on two designated holiday periods, including Thanksgiving, the Christmas holiday period, or the New Year holiday period.
