Job Summary

Surgical Technician, Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician. This position supports surgical procedures through preparation, technical assistance, collaboration with healthcare providers, and adherence to patient care and safety standards. The role requires strong communication, critical-thinking, organization, and adaptability in clinical and emergency situations.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC-BLS), or Basic Life Support Instructor (BLS-I); Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), Tech in SurgeryCertified (TS-C), Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA), or Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA); national certification required; ability to read, write, and speak English; strong customer service, interpersonal, communication, collaboration, delegation, multitasking, critical-thinking, and independent-judgment skills; knowledge of surgical procedures; basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Schedule: Day shifts, 3 shifts of 12 hours each, from 6:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Call requirement includes three 12-hour shifts per month, including one 24-hour weekend call.
• Additional Information: The assignment supports surgical procedures and requires the ability to function effectively in stressful and emergency situations, manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly to changing circumstances, and maintain strong attention to detail.
