Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical With Telemetry. This travel position provides care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in a surgical setting with telemetry monitoring. The role supports patients with complex medical and postoperative conditions while collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; two years of nursing experience; previous travel nursing experience; required electronic health record charting experience; state or compact nursing license in hand at the time of submission.
• Preferred Qualifications: Community hospital experience.
• Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week; weekend coverage is required.
• Additional Information: Patient ratios are approximately 5:1. Patient populations include adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. Clinical responsibilities may include telemetry monitoring, management of non-titrating cardiac and anticoagulation infusions, postoperative care, respiratory support, central and peripheral line care, wound care, chest tube management, tracheostomy care, feeding tube management, blood product administration, and care for patients with stroke, sepsis, congestive heart failure, atrial fibrillation, withdrawal, hypertensive crisis, and total joint replacement diagnoses. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and pharmacy.
