Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Operating Room. The position supports surgical care for general, orthopedic, spine, neurological, gynecological, ear, nose, and throat, robotics, urology, podiatry, vascular, and open-heart procedures. The role requires a positive, adaptable, self-directed professional who can anticipate patient and team needs in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse; Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA); minimum of 3 years of experience in operating room nursing.
- Preferred Qualifications: Robotics training preferred. Vascular and open-heart experience is desirable.
- Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week, with a rotating weekday off. Weekend, weekday overnight, and holiday call rotation is required.
- Additional Information: Provides care for a broad range of surgical patients, including general, orthopedic, spine, neurological, gynecological, ear, nose, and throat, robotics, urology, podiatry, vascular, and open-heart cases. Surgical scrubs are provided. The position requires an attentive, flexible, self-starting professional who can anticipate needs and adapt to changing circumstances.
