Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical With Telemetry. This travel position supports a varied adult and geriatric patient population across emergency room boarding, telemetry, and medical-surgical units. The role requires charge nurse experience and the ability to provide care based on unit acuity and staffing needs.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Two years of nursing experience; charge nurse experience required; experience in the United States required; active compact state license in hand at submission; charting system experience required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Medical-surgical or telemetry float experience and cardiac step-down experience are preferred.
• Additional Information:
  • Provides care for adults and geriatric patients across emergency room boarding, telemetry, and medical-surgical settings.
  • Nurse-to-patient ratios vary from 1:4 to 1:6 based on unit acuity.
  • May include charge responsibilities involving staffing coordination, bed flow, and general unit coordination.
  • Must commit to working three of five designated holidays.
  • One orientation day off may be requested in advance.
  • Electronic health record charting experience is required.
  • Start date: 12/01/2026.
