Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Endoscopy Lab. Provides coordinated nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures while applying the nursing process, critical thinking, and independent clinical judgment. The role also coordinates multidisciplinary care, delegates appropriately, supports patient and family education, and contributes to discharge planning and safe continuity of care.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or American Red Cross (ARC) Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Acute care facility experience.
• Additional Information:

  • Collects and analyzes patient data, develops individualized care plans, implements interventions, and evaluates outcomes.
  • Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to coordinate care and provide health education.
  • Delegates duties appropriately and coordinates the activities of healthcare team members.
  • Must be able to scrub and circulate for endoscopy procedures, including esophagogastroduodenoscopy, colonoscopy, and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography.
  • On-call coverage may be required during weekday evenings and weekends.
  • Required vaccinations must be received as a condition of employment, where applicable; medical and religious exemptions may apply.
