Job Title:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Psychiatric Care
Overview:
Join Medical Edge Recruitment as an LPN in a critical psychiatric facility in Pueblo, Colorado. This 24-week contract offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in behavioral health, providing compassionate care within a supportive environment. Pay Package:
$29 per hour with a weekly stipend of $972, resulting in a weekly total of approximately $2,596 for a 48-hour schedule.
Required Skills:
- Valid Colorado or Compact LPN license
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Experience working in psychiatric or behavioral health settings is preferred
- Strong communication and compassionate interpersonal skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, days or nights
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Prior experience in psychiatric or behavioral health nursing
- Relevant clinical experience in mental health facilities or related settings
Other Requirements:
- Must pass a criminal record check as mandated by state law
- Availability for 12-hour day or night shifts
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced behavioral health environment
