Description

Job Title: Travel NICU RN – 13-Week Contract

Overview:
Join a premier healthcare institution in Lafayette, LA, as a Travel NICU RN and make a meaningful impact in neonatal care. This 13-week assignment offers you the opportunity to work with advanced technology and a highly supportive team, enhancing your expertise in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Tailored for experienced neonatal ICU nurses seeking a dynamic and rewarding travel opportunity, this role provides a platform to elevate your career while gaining valuable high-acuity neonatal care experience.

Pay Package:

  • Weekly pay of $2,136, combining base pay and stipends
  • Base Pay: $26/hour
  • Weekly Stipend: $1,200
  • Compensation reflects a competitive package with potential for extension

Required Skills:

  • Valid RN license in Louisiana or a compact state license
  • Current BLS certification
  • NRP certification (required for NICU)
  • Minimum of 2 years NICU experience, demonstrating proficiency in high-acuity neonatal care

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Prior experience exclusively in NICU settings for at least two years is preferred, ensuring capability to manage high-acuity neonatal patients efficiently

Other Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work day or night shifts based on availability
  • Criminal background check required by state law for employment eligibility
