Psych RN – Nights, 13-Week Contract

Overview:
Medical Edge Recruitment is seeking a experienced Psych RN for an immediate 13-week assignment in Danville, PA. This position offers a vital opportunity to provide specialized mental health care in a dynamic inpatient setting. You will join a dedicated team committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care while enjoying a competitive opportunity to advance your career in psychiatric nursing.

Pay Package:
$50 per hour

Required Skills:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience working as a Psychiatric Registered Nurse
  • Active PA nursing license
  • Active BLS (Basic Life Support) card from the American Heart Association
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a 12-hour shift schedule

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Prior experience in psychiatric or mental health nursing in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Knowledge of mental health protocols and crisis intervention techniques

Other Requirements:

  • PA licensure to practice nursing in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Requires a criminal record check in accordance with state law
  • Availability to work night shifts (12-hour nights)
  • Ability to commit to a 13-week contract
