Job Title:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long-Term Care (LTC)

Overview:
Join Medical Edge Recruitment as an LPN in Brookings, SD, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents within a reputable LTC facility. This is an immediate opportunity for dedicated nursing professionals to contribute their expertise in a supportive environment, working 12-hour night shifts on a 13-week contract. Pay Package:
Weekly pay of $1,664 for a 13-week assignment.

Required Skills:

  • At least 1 to 2 years of experience working in a long-term care setting
  • Valid license to work in South Dakota
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a 12-hour schedule

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Prior experience specifically in LTC environments
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of healthcare protocols relevant to LTC

Other Requirements:

  • Must pass a criminal record check as mandated by state law
  • Must possess an active BLA card from the AHA
  • Availability for 12-hour night shifts
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality
