Job Title:
School-Based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Albuquerque, NM
Overview:
Are you a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking an impactful role in a school setting? Join us for a 44-week contract in Albuquerque, NM, and play a vital part in supporting students’ communication, academic success, and overall well-being. This opportunity offers stable hours, competitive pay, and the chance to make a real difference in children’s lives.
Pay Package:
$56/hour
Required Skills:
- Active, valid Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- 1–2 years of experience as an SLP, preferably in a school environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Experience developing and implementing evidence-based interventions
- Collaborate effectively with IEP teams, teachers, parents, and school staff
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (preferred educational background)
- Prior experience working with K–12 students in a school setting is preferred
Other Requirements:
- Ability to start in August
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7-hour shifts
- Familiarity with state, federal, and district policies regarding special education and communication disorders
- No travel or licensure-specific certifications required beyond licensing
