Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Part-Time/Full-Time Opportunities

Overview:
Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a vital and rewarding role that supports patient care through hands-on nursing interventions. This ongoing assignment offers flexibility for part-time or full-time schedules, with opportunities to work on the first or second shift and every other weekend. You will be instrumental in delivering quality nursing services under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, making a meaningful difference in patient outcomes while advancing your professional skills.

Pay Rate: $29 per hour
Shift: 8 hour shifts

Required Skills:

• Valid license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse issued by the Ohio Board of Nursing
• Completion of an approved medication administration course
• Knowledge of skilled practical nursing procedures, pharmacology, and patient care practices
• Ability to perform clinical tasks such as administering medications and treatments, inserting catheters, applying sterile dressings, collecting specimens, and assisting with dialysis treatments
• Proficiency with medical equipment including blood pressure cuffs, oxygen equipment, sterilizers, and dialysis machines
• Excellent documentation skills, including maintaining medication accountability and patient records
• Strong interpersonal skills to develop rapport with patients and team members

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Licensed Practical Nurse certification (LPN) in Ohio
• Prior experience in corrections (preferred)

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work night and weekend shifts on a rotating schedule
• Willingness to work mandatory overtime as needed
• Exposure risk to bodily fluids, infectious diseases, and unpredictable patient behavior
• Willingness and ability to travel to community sites under contract with the Department of Mental Health and Department of Developmental Disabilities
