Description

Job Title:
Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room

Overview:
Join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) and become a vital leader in delivering exceptional patient care. In this role, you will utilize the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice to ensure high-quality outcomes. You will oversee and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, delegate tasks effectively, and demonstrate cultural sensitivity—making a meaningful difference in patient lives while advancing your professional growth.

Pay Package: $36 per hour with weekly stipend of $1,200
Schedule: 6:30am - 3pm

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in applying the Nursing Process for patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Strong delegation and leadership abilities to guide licensed and ancillary team members
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Good judgment and decision-making capabilities
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and data analysis
  • Experience handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Physical stamina to meet demands of heavy work, including moving objects weighing 25-50 pounds frequently

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting

Other Requirements:

  • Current RN License in the state of practice
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Knowledge of and compliance with federal, state, and local laws, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to work in environments with potential exposure to blood, body fluids, and communicable diseases
  • Ability to exert exertion consistent with heavy work demands, including lifting and moving objects and patients as required
