Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse – Obstetrics (13-Week Contract)

Overview:
Medical Edge Recruitment is actively seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for an immediate 13-week contract in Fort Stockton, TX. This pivotal role specializes in Obstetrics within an acute care setting, offering an excellent opportunity for dedicated nurses to impact patient care in postpartum, newborn nursery, and Mother/Baby units. Pay Package:
$36 per hour plus a $1,300 weekly stipend for the duration of the contract.

Required Skills:

Valid and current Texas (or compact state) RN license
Ability to work in postpartum, newborn nursery, and Mother/Baby units
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
Experience in acute care obstetrics and neonatal environments

Preferred Education and Experience:

Prior experience in obstetrics, postpartum, or neonatal nursing
Demonstrated ability to handle a fast-paced maternity unit environment

Other Requirements:

Must hold active Texas or compact RN license
Willingness to work 12-hour day shifts
State law mandates a criminal record check as a condition of employment.
