Join a dynamic Emergency Department team in Norwich, New York as a Staff Nurse. This role features a 12-hour night shift schedule, with three shifts per week, offering 36 guaranteed hours. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to patients in an emergency setting. Responsibilities include assessing and planning patient care, administering medications, and educating patients and families on health promotion and disease management. The role also entails active participation in professional development and nursing shared governance initiatives, ensuring adherence to nursing practice standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with a dedicated team to promote a caring and healing environment. Ideal candidates should possess strong collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills. Required qualifications include an Associate's degree in Nursing, a current New York State RN license, and BLS certification. Preferred candidates will hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and have prior clinical experience in acute care or ambulatory settings.
