Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Med Surg/Telemetry RN in Rochester, New York. This 12-hour night shift role offers guaranteed 36 hours per week and requires a start date of August 17, 2026. As part of this position, you will manage patient care in a cardiac-focused unit, working with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 6-7 on nights. Responsibilities include interpreting and managing dysrhythmias, peripheral line care, rapid response, and non-invasive airway management. Collaborate with PCTs for vital signs, blood glucose checks, and EKGs. Utilizing your expertise in isolation precautions and oxygen therapy, you will make a meaningful impact in patient care. Charting is done via Epic, and the dress code includes navy and white scrubs. Weekend rotations are every other weekend, and floating within the scope of practice may be required to meet facility needs. This is a travel contract role, providing an opportunity to expand your skills and work in a supportive environment.
