We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Progressive Care for a travel/contract position in Potsdam, New York. This role requires working 12-hour night shifts, 4 days per week, with guaranteed 48 hours. The start date for this position is August 10, 2026. As part of a mixed acuity unit, you will care for PCU, MS Tele, and MS patients. Responsibilities include telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia management, post-MI care, and advanced wound care. You will also manage central lines, PICC lines, and various drips, including insulin and cardiac drips. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of recent PCU/IMC experience and hold certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. Preferred certifications include PALS and TCAR. Experience with EPIC documentation and Pyxis systems is required. Candidates should be proficient in caring for pre- and post-surgical patients and comfortable floating to sister units as needed.
