Title: Temp - Registered Nurse (RN) - Lactation Consultant Program Coordinator (Days) Pittsfield, MA

THIS NEED WILL CONSIDER AN RN, OT, PT, SLP OR PHARMACIST, AS LONG AS THEY MEET JOB REQUIREMENTS.
ALL MUST BE MA LICENSED 

 

This position is responsible for providing expert assessment, treatment, consultation, planning and leadership oversight for optimal lactation management in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.  For patients with advanced lactation support needs, will formulate an interdisciplinary plan of care and communicate with the care team related to these goals and plans.  


CERTS MUST BE IN HAND AND INCLUDED IN PROFILE UPLOAD.  FACILITY WILL NOT PEND UPON OFFER.  This is non-negotiable


Requirements

• 1+ years experience as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (BCLC) - Equivalent Certs NOT accepted [Required]
• A MINIMUM of 2500 hours as a breast-feeding consultant [REQUIRED]
• Experience with inpatient lactation programs [required]
• Outpatient prenatal and postpartum lactation education, consultations and/or teaching experience [required] 
• Meditech Expanse experience [strongly preferred] 
• CERTS MUST BE IN HAND AT PROFILE UPLOAD. PLEASE INCLUDE IN PROFILE.  FACILITY WILL NOT PEND UPON OFFER - This is non-negotiable
• Perm address must be included with profile 
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment
