Description

Polysomnographic Technologist – 13-Week Contract

Specialty: Polysomnographic Technologist / Sleep Lab
Schedule: Monday–Wednesday, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Contract: 13 weeks
Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the specialty
Required Certification: AHA BLS
Professional Credential: Current, unrestricted RPSGT certification/registration preferred or required per facility guidelines
Local Candidates: Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Responsibilities: Prepare patients and equipment for sleep studies, monitor polysomnograms, and document testing according to established protocols
Patient Population: Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
Skills: Strong knowledge of sleep disorders, sleep activity, abnormalities, movement arousals, and respiratory patterns

Holiday Requirement: Must work 2 of 3 major holidays — Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day — AND 1 minor holiday — Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
