Description

Job Title: Radiation Therapist

Department: Oncology

Position: 13-week contract

Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Local Candidate Requirement: 100-mile radius rule

License Requirement: New York State license in hand required

Experience: Minimum 1 year of radiation therapy experience

Required Qualifications:

Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Current BCLS certification
Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
Maintains all registries and licenses required by state and federal law

Preferred Experience:

Experience and training in Radiology
Experience with Varian TrueBeam, Varian IX, and ARIA software
