Description

Travel Radius: 75-mile radius rule applies

Local Candidates: Accepted; local rate applies to candidates residing less than 75 miles from the facility

Job Responsibilities

Provide speech-language pathology services across inpatient acute care, acute rehabilitation, and outpatient clinic settings.
Conduct bedside swallowing evaluations.
Provide patient coverage across the assigned healthcare system.
Adapt to changing patient volumes and float between care settings as needed.
Support patient care needs across the continuum of care.

Required Qualifications

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
Active New York State Speech-Language Pathology license required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required.
Experience with bedside swallowing evaluations required.

Preferred Qualifications

Inpatient acute hospital experience preferred.
Experience with videofluoroscopic swallow studies (VFSS) preferred.
