What You'll Do

As a Nurse Practitioner with TK Health Clinics, you'll provide primary and episodic medical care to an adult patient population within the Cass County Jail.

Responsibilities include:

Assessing, diagnosing, and treating acute and chronic medical conditions
Conducting patient evaluations and follow-up visits
Ordering and reviewing appropriate diagnostic testing
Prescribing medications and developing treatment plans within scope of practice
Managing common chronic conditions
Responding to clinical concerns identified by the nursing team
Maintaining accurate and timely medical documentation
Collaborating with nursing staff and TK Health medical leadership
Following established clinical protocols and correctional healthcare standards

Qualifications

Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license
Appropriate authorization to practice in Missouri
Strong assessment, clinical decision-making, and documentation skills
Ability to work independently within established clinical protocols
Ability to successfully complete a thorough background investigation

Correctional healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
