You should be able to pass an annual inter-rater reliability test for utilization review products and apply clinical guidelines to ensure progression of care. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is recommended, along with strong communication and teamwork abilities. Prior operating room experience is highly valued for this position.
