This Medical Surgical (MS) unit boasts the latest in advanced technology housed within a caring and effective patient care model. A new MS RN team member is needed to round out the care model. On this unit you will serve adults who are hospitalized to receive medicines and treatments or who are staying for recovery from surgical procedures. Monitoring and interventions are provided for patients at risk for altered skin integrity, falls, minor cardiac and pneumonia, among other conditions. You'll treat a number of patients, including those who have had surgery or been diagnosed with acute conditions such as pneumonia, appendicitis, abdominal pain, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or any medical problem/condition.
