Registered Nurse – Post-Anesthesia Care Unit - PACU - Travel - (PACU RN)
StartDate: 7/6/2026 Available Shifts: 12 D/E/N Pay Rate: $1935.00 - $2055.00
Travel RN-PACU jobs in Alexandria, VA let you care for patients recovering from surgery in a fast-paced hospital environment. You will monitor post-anesthesia patients, manage pain, and collaborate with a skilled perioperative team. To qualify, you need a current Virginia RN license, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with a plan to complete BSN within 5 years, and at least 1 year of recent PACU or critical care experience. Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications from the American Heart Association are required. Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and strong clinical assessment skills are necessary. Recommended skills include prioritization, time management, and the ability to work efficiently in high-stress situations.
