Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care/PCU/Stepdown unit setting during night shift hours
• Float to other units as required based on staffing and census needs
• Actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education alongside the provision of clinical care
• Complete all required orientation modules and compliance activities within designated timeframes, including Relias EKG testing within 72 hours of signing
• Adapt to census-driven scheduling adjustments, including potential flex of additional overtime shifts as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• AHA BLS certification required (AHA is the only accepted form; no substitutions)
• AHA ACLS certification required (AHA is the only accepted form; no substitutions)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility's service area to be eligible; local candidates will not be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred, though first-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Experience in an IMC, PCU, or Stepdown clinical environment
• Comfort with floating to multiple units and adapting to varying patient census levels
