Contract | Nights | 3 x 12-hour shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 52-bed Medical Surgical unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio on nights
• Manage common diagnoses including pneumonia, CHF, COPD, renal disease, sepsis, stroke, and overflow general surgical patients
• Administer and monitor set-rate and protocol-driven drips including heparin per protocol and antibiotics
• Verify telemetry rhythms in collaboration with tele techs using a Philips monitoring system
• Manage and troubleshoot respiratory equipment including CPAP and occasional BiPAP as needed
• Float as needed to the surgical floor and PCU within scope of skillset

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license or eligibility — Oregon licensure not required at time of submittal; facility may support a 90-Day Emergency License
• BLS certification required
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays based on staffing needs
• Ability to fulfill standby/call requirements up to approximately three times during the contract period

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior Medical Surgical nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and rhythm verification
• Comfort working alongside CNA support staff in a collaborative team environment
