Key Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in alignment with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
• Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines
• Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring functional treatment programs support effective return to community activities
• Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations as assigned
• Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all applicable regulatory requirements; maintain professional licensure in good standing and fulfill all state-mandated continuing education requirements
• Actively pursue professional development through continuing education, self-study, and involvement in professional organizations; contribute to organizational performance improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in good standing in the state of Pennsylvania
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist
• Experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy
• Ability to perform and document comprehensive patient evaluations and treatment plans in compliance with applicable guidelines and policies

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience supervising or mentoring PT students in a clinical setting
• Familiarity with functional quality indicators and letters of medical necessity documentation
• Demonstrated involvement in continuing education or professional therapy organizations
