Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis within the Operating Room setting
• Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care tasks have been delegated
• Support facility nursing leadership to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care is delivered
• Monitor and maintain competency of clinical staff and appropriate resource management related to patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas or a compact state
• Operating Room (OR) clinical experience
• Proficiency with Allscripts EMR
• Ability to obtain a facility-issued traveler badge and unique EID upon hire

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an OR setting
• Experience with staff supervision and clinical delegation
• Familiarity with facility onboarding processes for contract/travel staff
