Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Shifts are typically 8 hours with varying start times; schedules may include weekday/weekend combinations such as Wednesday–Sunday or Thursday–Monday. Holidays are not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients across assigned areas, which may include inpatient, outpatient, and/or acute rehab settings
• Treat a variety of diagnoses including orthopedic, post-surgical, neurological, trauma, cardiac, and med-surg conditions
• Document patient care and progress using Cerner PowerChart EMR
• Collaborate with rehab aides and other therapy disciplines (OT, Speech) as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Float to other areas within the therapy department as needed based on facility assignment
• Participate in a department-specific orientation of approximately 1.5 days, including EMR training if required

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of California
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist
• Experience with inpatient clinical settings may be considered in lieu of a full year of experience
• Proficiency or ability to quickly learn Cerner PowerChart
• Ability to treat up to 9 patients per day in outpatient settings or up to 13 patients per day in inpatient settings

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel therapy assignment experience
• Trauma patient care experience
• Experience working across multiple therapy settings (inpatient, outpatient, and rehab)
• Familiarity with neurological, spinal cord injury, and post-surgical patient populations
