Contract | Full-Time | Days | Onsite | Expected 36 hours/week | Monday–Friday, program hours 6:45 AM – 5:30 PM | No rotating shifts | No floating required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within an outpatient cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation day program, delivering education and exercise programming to adult patients
• Monitor patients via telemetry throughout exercise sessions, with a staff-to-patient ratio of 2 professionals per group at 1:5
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team including registered dietitians, exercise physiologists, and physical therapists
• Support cardiac risk factor intervention, exercise prescription, and intervention for patients with cardiovascular diagnoses (MI, stent, CABG, valve repair/replacement, transplant, heart failure, stable angina)
• Care for pulmonary rehabilitation patients including those with COPD, post-COVID, and other lung diseases
• Document patient care using EPIC EMR and a separate telemetry system (LSI)

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN License (Conditional MA RN License applicants accepted)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Minimum of two years of medical/surgical nursing experience
• Minimum of two years of recent intensive cardiac nursing care experience (other intensive nursing experience will be considered)
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Telemetry competency

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NCC Cardiac Vascular Nursing Certification
• Experience with cardiac risk factor intervention and exercise prescription
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR and telemetry monitoring systems
