Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit in accordance with facility protocols and standards of practice
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, monitoring patients for responses and adverse effects
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Tennessee or a compact state license
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Travel nursing experience or ability to adapt quickly to new facility environments

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Strong critical thinking and time management skills in high-acuity environments
