Key Responsibilities
- Perform circulating RN duties in a general operating room environment
- Support a variety of surgical specialties including general surgery, gynecology, and urology
- Assist with robotic-assisted surgical procedures
- Participate in an on-call rotation, typically consisting of 4–5 weekday call shifts and 2–3 weekend call shifts per month (7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM on Saturday or Sunday); call rotation may fluctuate based on departmental staffing levels
- Respond to callback requests and be present in the hospital within 30 minutes of notification
- Document patient care accurately using the Cerner EMR system
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience
- Circulating experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with robotic-assisted surgical procedures
- Background in general surgery, gynecology (GYN), and/or urology
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR
