Contract | Night Shift | Sunday–Thursday | Mix of 12-hour shifts (6:30 PM–7:00 AM) and 8-hour shifts (10:30 PM–7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, spine, and musculoskeletal imaging as part of a team-based department workflow
• Operate a Philips MRI scanner within a high-volume department averaging 20–25 patients per 24-hour period across the team; traveler will not work alone
• Work across outpatient, inpatient, and emergency room settings within a Level 1 Trauma, major teaching hospital environment
• Perform IV starts as required for contrast administration
• Document and chart using Cerner and Fuji Synapse (PACS)
• Adhere to all facility health and compliance requirements, including seasonal flu vaccination policy (required October 1–March 31, with documented medical exemptions only)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered MRI Technologist
• ARRT certification in MR or R required
• BLS (BCLS) certification required through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• West Virginia State License required; pending license accepted for submission provided license is active by start date
• IV start proficiency required
• Experience in outpatient, inpatient, and emergency room settings required
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility; candidates between 75–99 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center, teaching hospital, community hospital, or Adult ICU setting preferred
• PACS and contrast administration experience preferred
• Proficiency in advanced MRI techniques such as CINE, diffusion imaging, gradient echo, perfusion, spectroscopy, MIP, multiplanar reconstruction, peripheral MR, spin echo, surface coils, and T1/T2 weighted imaging preferred
• First-time travelers welcome provided candidate holds MRI registration and meets the 2-year experience requirement
